In this special compilation, we revisit seven small London homes under 60sqm/646sqft. From sleeping pods and colour zoning to flexible furniture and smart joinery, each home explores a different way of unlocking light, space and liveability within a tight footprint. There’s a boho-Japanese-inspired apartment centred around a cocoon-like sleeping pod enclosed by translucent panels, while a compact King’s Cross flat uses bold colour zoning to define space and create a sense of warmth. Inside the iconic Florin Court building, continuous plywood joinery conceals a Murphy bed, movable sofa and foldaway dining table, creating a calm, flexible home for two artists.
